Born in 1978 in Ivory Coast where I spent my childhood, I have lived in Liège, Belgium, since my teenage years.

I discovered ceramics at 16 and it became an obsession.

I trained in art restoration, spent years giving new life to damaged pieces, before dedicating myself entirely to creating my own.

I learned from books, residencies, generous craftspeople — and mostly from ovens full of failed sculptures. My legendary impatience died along the way.

There are several of us inside my head. My work reflects that.

My narrative sculptures, either anthropomorphic or naturalistic, are both a tribute to the beauty of life and a mirror of the fragilities and contradictions of humanity.
They embody my reflections on humans, nature, and life in all its complexity.
The playful, tender or aggressive aspect of some of my works often hides an engaged message, driven by a keen awareness of the struggles of our time.
These struggles seem essential to me: improving the interaction between humans and their environment, fighting all forms of discrimination, denouncing everyday injustices and violence, and promoting a more respectful way of living together.
Other pieces, lighter in tone, serve as a platform to celebrate our capacity to love and evolve, or to highlight, with humor, our flaws and fragilities — what makes us imperfect, yet deeply human.
My works often reveal their hidden meaning through their titles, the inscriptions I add, or the poems that accompany them. They invite viewers to reflect on their own condition while re-examining our collective responsibility towards nature and one another, in an effort to enhance society.
